Out Loud Story Slam to name champion Friday

SEQUIM — Out Loud Story Slam will present “Grand Slam: Regrettably” at 7 p.m. Friday.

The storytelling championship will be at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave. in Sequim.

Tickets are $20 per person at www.olympictheatrearts.org or $25 at the door.

Unlike Out Loud Story Slams, the Grand Slam features winners from previous Story Slams.

Tellers Star Pittman, Heidi Hansen, Jeri Seamands, Emma Amiad, Sarah Tucker, Doug Woodall and Trisha Haggerty will share tales on the theme Regrettably.

Nessa Goldman will host, and guest judges from the North Olympic Library System, the Clallam Story People and Bremerton-based Story Night will name the Grand Slam Champion and award prizes to the top three tellers.
