PORT TOWNSEND — Peninsula Fiber Artists will open its exhibit, “Colors of Summer,” on Saturday.
The exhibit will be on display from noon to 5 p.m. Fridays through Sundays in the Mead Werks tasting room at Wilderbee Farm, 223 Cook Ave. Extension, Port Townsend, through Sept. 6.
The exhibit features 49 pieces of fiber art that includes jewelry, textile sculpture and art quilts.
The exhibitors are Evette Allerdings and Merrie Jo Schroeder of Port Angeles; Leslie Dickinson, Caryl Fallert-Gentry, Sue Gale, Pat Herkal, Kindy Kemp, Cynthia LeRouge, Debra E. Olson, Janice Speck, Cathie Wier and Erika Wurm of Port Townsend; Larkin Van Horn of Port Hadlock; Jeri Auty and Terri Wolf of Port Ludlow; Susan Sawatzky of Nordland; Donna Dowdney of Bainbridge Island; and Daera Leslie Dobbs of Poulsbo.
Most of the pieces in the exhibit can be purchased directly from the artists for $30 to $3,250.

The group maintains a walk-by display space at the corner of Tyler and Lawrence streets in Uptown Port Townsend. The exhibits change six times annually.
