Peter Mulvey to play concert at Palindrome

PORT TOWNSEND — Peter Mulvey will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The concert will be in the Palindrome at Eaglemount Cidery, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road in Port Townsend.

Tickets are $20 at www.ticketstorm.com or $25 at the door.

Mulvey spent a couple years busking and gigging in Ireland, the Midwest and Boston.

Mulvey’s small shows led to larger shows and, eventually, to regional and then national and international touring.

He has recorded 19 albums and opened for such artists as Ani DiFranco, Emmylou Harris and Chuck Prophet.

Since 2019, Mulvey has worked with the band SistaStrings, composed of Chauntee and Monique Ross with Nathan Kilen on drums.

They released the live album “Peter Mulvey with SistaStrings Live at the Cafe Carpe” that was recorded at the Cafe Carpe in Fort Atkinson, Wis., and 2022’s “Love is the Only Thing.”
