PORT LUDLOW — Port Ludlow Art League members have their work on display all over town through January.
Along with art exhibits at the Port Ludlow Art League’s Gallery, Sound Community Bank, the Port Ludlow Inn and Resort and the Bay Club, the group’s membership provides collections at a variety of businesses.
• Active Life Physical Therapy — Pamela Raine — mixed media paintings.
• The Beach Club — Diane Walker — abstract paintings.
• The Bay Club Lobby — Ann Arscott — realistic acrylic paintings.
In addition, Port Ludlow Art League fundraising plaques are at the Port Ludlow Post Office.
Art at the Bay Club
During December, the Port Ludlow Bay Club’s art exhibit, Cozy Colors, is sponsored by the Port Ludlow Art League. Visitors can vote for their favorite artwork.
As an added bonus, Ann Arscott’s artwork will be on display in the Bay Club’s lobby through January.
The Bay Club is located at 120 Spinnaker Lane in Port Ludlow.

Artist, jeweler of month
Acrylic artist Jeanne Joseph is December’s artist of the month for the Port Ludlow Art League.
Ludlow lives on the shores of the Olympic Peninsula.
“I have salt water running through my veins and am intrinsically linked to the sea and shore,” she said. “It’s where I find inspiration and why so many of my paintings and drawings are coastal related.”
Mixed media artist Pamela Raine is drawn to the challenge of creating both jewelry and artwork using different materials.
Raine’s jewelry features a collection of lampwork beads donated by Diane Thierry. Lampwork is the term used for making beads from melting and forming glass in a flame. Hundreds of years ago, the glass used to be heated over a small oil burning lamp, hence the term “lampwork.”
The work of both artist and jeweler of the month is on view at the Sound Community Bank and at www.portludlowart.org.
During December, Raine’s jewelry will be on display at the Port Ludlow Art League Gallery.
The bank and gallery are located at the corner of Oak Bay Road and Osprey Ridge Drive in Port Ludlow.
The gallery is open from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
