PORT TOWNSEND — Frank Petrie will present “Introduction to Astronomy and Telescopes” at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Petrie’s lecture, sponsored by the Port Townsend Public Library, will stream on Zoom.
Petrie will provide a basic overview of astronomy and will discuss how to choose and use a telescope.
Although Petrie is the president of the Battle Point Astronomical Association, his presentation is oriented toward newcomers to astronomy and casual observers of the night sky.
