SEQUIM — The Jamestown S’Klallam tribe will conduct a countdown to lighting the railroad bridge at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16.
The bridge is next to the Dungeness River Nature Center, 1943 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim.
The lighting of the bridge and the River Center will include a sing-along.
The River Center’s Gift Shop will be open late during the bridge lighting.
Hurricane Coffee at the River will sell holiday drinks such as eggnog, pumpkin spice lattes, hot chocolate with whipped cream, chai, hot teas and cookies.
Other holiday bazaars this weekend are:
• Gardiner Holiday Bazaar — The Gardiner Community Center will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The bazaar is in the center at 980 Old Gardiner Road.
The bazaar features hand-crafted gifts including leaf pottery, quilted items, fabric crafts, crystal nail files, journals, turned wood items, wrapped bracelets, painted feathers, lazy susans, kitchen gadgets, chocolates, bee balm candles and stuffed animals.
Chili lunch is for sale starting at 11 a.m.
Proceeds will benefit Project Linus.
• Makers Market — The Rainforest Council for the Arts will sponsor Makers Market from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
The market is in the Rainforest Arts Center, Forks.
The market features more than 30 local artists and makers and a raffle of vendor products.
