PORT ANGELES — Second Weekend Port Angeles will feature the Olympic Peninsula Art Association, the jewelry and wooden artwork of Jennifer and Davis Stevenson and an Open Studio to allow visitors to make their own art.
Enchanted April — Art by the Olympic Peninsula Art Association will be at Studio Bob, 118½ E. Front St.
The opening reception for the more than 18 local artists represented in a variety of media will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. It also will be open to the public from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Enchanted April also will be open to the public Sunday, April 16, 23 and 30 from noon to 3 p.m.
Music on Saturday night will be with Tin Sandwich featuring Marty and Marilyn Kaler.
Enchanted April is free. All ages are welcome and it is dog friendly.
Olympic Peninsula Art Association is celebrating 54 years with its first art show and fundraiser of 2023. The exhibit will run through May 6. It can be seen virtually at: http://enchantedapril.opaashow.org, where all artwork is for sale.
Harbor Art
Harbor Art Gallery will continue its March show through April, with a reception during the Saturday art walk.
Located at 114 N. Laurel St. in downtown Port Angeles, Harbor Art Gallery is featuring the artwork of Jennifer and Davis Stevenson. Using recycled local woods and materials, the Stevensons create jewelry and housewares that highlight the natural beauty of the region, under the name Northwest Beach Works.
The gallery’s regular hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
One of a Kind
One of a Kind Gallery, at 115 E. Railroad Ave., offers Open Studio every second Saturday of the month from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Visitors are welcome to work on their creations in the galley on the bottom floor of the Port Angeles Wharf.
