PORT TOWNSEND — “Spirit of the Yule,” an original musical about real-life Port Townsend entrepreneur Henrietta Maynard, is on now at Key City Public Theatre, 419 Washington St.
Holiday show
KCPT’s Denise Winter and Linda Dowdell created this holiday show four years ago, and changed it up for this year’s production.
Artistic Associate Brendan Chambers directs guest performers Karen Skrinde, Ry Armstrong and David Natale, along with local actors Tomoki Sage, Ciel Pope, Zoe Cook, Becky Eastgard, Maggie Jo Bulkley and Consuelo Aduviso Brennan.
“Yule” show times during the coming week are 7 p.m. Thursday; both 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday; and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Pay what you wish
At Thursday and Saturday’s performances, theatergoers can pay what they wish at the door, so they’re encouraged to come up to 30 minutes before curtain time.
