Tickets on sale for Music on the Strait performance

PORT ANGELES — Tickets are on sale for Music on the Strait’s Oct. 4 performance of Bach’s Goldberg Variations at Field Arts and Events Hall.

Seats are $25 to $50 per person at www.musiconthe strait.com.

Although originally written for the harpsichord, this performance is arranged for violin, viola and cello and will be performed by James Garlick, violin; Richard O’Neill, viola; and Karen Ouzounian, cello.

Garlick and O’Neil also will play Duo for Violin and Viola, “The Happiness of Two Salmon Returning Home” by Lembit Beecher, Music on the Strait’s composer in residence.

Additional works by Beecher are planned and may include Beecher on the piano.
