Tickets still available for Festival of Trees events

PORT ANGELES — Tickets are still available for Festival of Trees events next weekend.

Tickets are being sold for the Gala presented by First Federal on Friday and the Teddy Bear Tea presented by Erika Ralston Word of Windermere on Saturday.

Tickets also are available for the Senior Breakfast Presented by Discovery Memory Care, and Family Days presented by The Lodge at Sherwood Village, Sherwood Assisted living and Fifth Avenue Retirement Center, as well as for the Senior Breakfast presented by Discovery Memory Care and Opening Ceremonies presented by the Jamestown Tribe.

All events are at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St. in Port Angeles.

Tickets can be purchased at www.omhf.org, by calling 360-417-7144 or by going to the Olympic Medical Center Foundation office at 1015 Georgiana St. in Port Angeles.

Now in its 34th year, the annual event is a four-day fundraiser for the OMC Foundation. Elaborately decorated Christmas trees and wreaths created by some of the area’s best designers are featured during the event.

The list of events includes:

• Wednesday, Opening Ceremonies, 5 p.m.

Presented by Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, lighting of large outdoor decorations and trees, performance from Ghostlight Productions and a private tree viewing.

A quintet from the Port Angeles Symphony, Amanda Bacon and the Jamestown Tribe will perform White Christmas, the latter in the Jamestown S’Klallam language.

Tickets are $20 each.

• Friday, Senior Breakfast, 8 a.m.

Presented by Discovery Memory Care, breakfast will be served for all ages.

The event also includes entertainment, tree viewing and a performance by the Stardust Band.

Tickets are $16 each.

• Friday, Festival of Trees Gala, doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Presented by First Fed at 5 p.m. Buffet dinner, tree auction and silent auction.

Tickets are $110 each.

• Nov. 30, Teddy Bear Tea, 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Presented by Erika Ralston Word of Windermere for parents and children. Santa will make his first appearance at the event and will be available for photos with each child.

Photos will be printed and available to pick up immediately following the event.

Tickets are $15 each, $30 for VIP.

• Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, Family Days

Presented by The Lodge at Sherwood Village, Sherwood Assisted Living and Fifth Avenue Retirement Center. Attendees will be able to view the trees, purchase raffle tickets, take photos with Santa and listen to entertainment.

The Saturday event will be from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the Sunday event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tickets are $7 each; kids under 12 are free.
