COYLE — Canadian folk-roots duo Two Crows for Comfort will make its Concerts in the Woods debut at 3 p.m. Saturday.
The show will be at the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center at 923 Hazel Point Road in Coyle.
Tickets are by donation only; $20 is suggested.
Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Two Crows for Comfort (Erin Corby and Cory Sulyma) have released two full-length albums of original folk music.
Following the release of their debut, “17 Feet,” in 2018, the duo was awarded Roots Artist of the Year at the 2019 Manitoba Country Music Awards.
Their most recent CD, “Show Me Light,” came out in spring 2021 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, which halted their plans to tour behind the record. The pandemic did not stop them, though, from taking home a second Manitoba Country Music Roots Artist of the Year award in 2021.
Two Crows took to the road once again — his time permanently.
Marrying their passions for travel and music, they now live in their 20-foot camper with their pup, Elliot, playing countless shows across Canada and the U.S.
The Concerts in the Woods concert is scheduled to be the duo’s last show in the U.S. on this leg of their winter tour.
Two Crows for Comfort’s latest album, “Show Me Light,” is on all streaming platforms and vinyl, and CD copies are also available for purchase at their live show.
