PORT TOWNSEND — The Uptown Street Fair will celebrate the eclectic spirit of Uptown Port Townsend on Saturday.
The fair will feature live music, entertainment, food, arts and crafts and kids’ activities.
Schedule of events:
• Farmers Market and food vendors open, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Port Townsend Arts Guild arts and crafts fair, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Outdoor beer garden, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Children’s art activities, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Family Story Time with Judith Bows, 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The schedule of entertainment includes:
• Eliot Minarchek, Kiwanis Stars of Tomorrow winner, yo-yo artist, 9 a.m.
• Heard of Cats, 10 a.m.
• Ginnie Porter and George Radebaugh, 11 a.m.
• Intensive Porpoises, noon.
• Jack Dwyer and Jack Tierney, 1:10 p.m.
• The Unbelievably Colorful Yet Brief Uptown Street Fair parade (no political or religious entries), 2 p.m.
• Unexpected Brass Band jam, 2:25 p.m.
• Afterlife Giftshop, 2:45 p.m.
• DJ LunchLady, 4:14 p.m.
Lawrence and Tyler streets will be closed during the Uptown Street Fair for public safety.
