GARDINER — The third annual Valley of the Trolls, an event featuring a half marathon, 10-kilometer and 5K races, is set for Saturday.
The races will be at Troll Haven Bandy Farms, a troll-themed property at 950 Gardiner Beach Road, beginning at 8 a.m.
Race organizers are challenging the citizens of Port Angeles, Sequim, Port Townsend and Chimacum to compete.
The town with the most runners will have a donation made to the town’s high school track and field program.
All finishers receive a T-shirt and medal.
