When not on Broadway, she performs and tours as a solo artist, with numerous ensembles and as a symphony soloist.

Her live album of traditional Irish music recorded in Manhattan pubs, “Manhattan Island Sessions,” was nominated for an Independent Music Award.

She will be joined by Ranney, who grew up in Washington and has studied piano since age 6.

Ranney spent seven years as the associate conductor and musical director of the Tony Award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated Broadway musical “Come From Away” in New York City.

Ranney has worked extensively at home in Washington, acting as musical director and pianist for many productions at Seattle’s acclaimed 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre and the Seattle Repertory Theatre.

Ranney became interested in traditional music in 2016 when he picked up the button accordion while on tour with “Come From Away.”

He often can be heard playing at Irish sessions around New York.

Ranney has developed a piano accompaniment style for Irish music that draws on his extensive experience with various contemporary styles combined with an ear for traditional melody and chord structure.

He holds degrees in performing arts technology and electrical engineering from the University of Michigan.
