LETTER: Another month of bad decisions

Another month of the same distracted and unthinking president.

Another month of unqualified cabinet secretaries making decisions to damage our country.

Another month of a Congress that cannot put together any legislation to help our country.

Another month of the infrastructure of America on the verge of collapse with no plan to help maintain it.

Another month of promises to lower the taxes of the average American when in reality, the barely understood tax proposal will only help the very rich Americans and leave the rest of us with $4.3 trillion to $5.5 trillion of debt by 2036, according to Forbes.

By 2036, all of these politicians supporting this debt-tax increase will be out of government or dead and will say — if they are alive — that they have had nothing to do with the massive debt the government has.

We have only ourselves to blame for this situation.

We, the majority, continue to not get involved in the processes of fixing our country.

We do not find people to do the job, and when we do, we only have a minority that actually participate in the voting process to elect these people.

We Americans must spend a little more of our time and energies to save our country.

We need to be more active locally to keep America the best it can be.

Work with your friends and the community to get positive change in the way we run our country.

Frank Cimino,
