Climate change?
I’ve been keeping track of rainfall since 2002.
The following data I find to be truly amazing.
For the 12 years from 2002 through 2013, the average rainfall I recorded was 20.95 inches, with only one of those years being over 23 inches.
For the seven years from 2014 through 2020, the average rainfall I recorded was 27.4 inches, with only one of those years being below 23 inches.
That is an increase of 30 percent.
In the first 18 years of my collecting data, I never had over 30 inches in one year.
In this last year, 2020, the total was 34 inches.
So the answer to my initial question, that’s simple, it lies within the rain gauge.
