I’ll not join the blame Joe Biden fest.
Frankly, I’m amazed that we only got some inflation and not a full-blown recession.
From Trump’s huge deficit-financed tax cuts to the only group that doesn’t need relief, America’s wealthiest citizens and corporations.
And the huge federal COVID expenditure on vaccines for a life-threatening viral outbreak.
Also, pandemic stimulus payments that both presidents signed but only one insisted his name be on the check.
Many former vice presidents have failed at presidential runs.
Kamala Harris was fortunate enough that Biden chose her for his second in command.
As a senator for years, Biden rode Amtrak daily into the capitol and chatted with other passengers. As Joe normal, not some self-important official.
Biden is a genuinely decent human being and a lifelong practicing Catholic.
As president, he has reunited America with other leading nations to curbing greenhouse gas emissions, which is beyond doubt the issue of our time. He also united our allies and true friends as fellow NATO members, who stand together against Putin’s assault on sovereign western nation and friend, Ukraine.
Not like his predecessor, who is in love with Putin and Kim Jong Un.
I would rather have the elder, faltering Marcus Aurelius, than his covetous vainglorious heir apparent.
Trump’s cabinet, overstuffed with billionaires, includes the world’s wealthiest person and has a keen interest in our nation’s multi-trillion dollar government.
But they have no interest in governing.
They want to rule.
