The self-proclaimed party of diversity, tolerance and inclusiveness has been on full display since its crushing defeat in November.
Republican wins in the House, Senate and the presidency, not to mention holding 33 governorships and 32 state legislatures, has left the Democratic Party in disarray and stunned disbelief.
As the shock has worn off, their latent, visceral hatred has erupted.
This in turn has triggered a pandemic that I have diagnosed as TEDS: Trump Election Derangement Syndrome.
This cognitive/emotional disorder aggressively attacks the areas of the brain that control reason, logic, common sense, rational thought and often human decency.
The case history is huge, well-documented and growing daily.
Denial, mob intimidation, violent protests, riots, personal attacks, racism and sedition are symptomatic to this disorder.
Here are a few of these case histories:
The Women’s March that descended Jan. 21 on our nation’s capital featuring the vile rhetoric of self-described chief nasty woman Ashley Judd and Miss I-Want-the-White-House-Blown-Up Madonna.
Vicious personal and sometimes physical attacks on Trump voters, supporters, family and friends are increasing.
President Trump’s family, from wife Melania down to preschool grandson Spencer, are all fair game for Trumpophobes infected with TEDS.
Advocating for open borders, sanctuary cities, minimal vetting of refugees from hot spots of terror and unrest attests to the delusional mental condition of TEDS sufferers.
While there have been no clinical trials, I believe conversion therapy would offer hope to Trump Election Derangement Syndrome patients.
