The state Senate has voted to tax property owners (this mostly means the little guy) to pay for education.
The Democrats wanted to institute a carbon tax and levy a capital gains tax on stocks above a certain threshold (this means the fat cats) to pay for it.
The Senate, ruled by Republicans, is once again doing what Republicans do: taking from the poor and giving to the rich.
I have always said that to be a Republican, you have to be either rich or ignorant.
If you’re rich, you’re voting in your own self-interest.
If you’re poor, you’re cutting off your nose to spite your face.
When will people learn that the Republicans do not have your interests at heart unless you are one of their own?
The poor and middle classes will take the hit one more time.
Vote these fat rats in Olympia out of office in 2020 or expect more of the same.
