Voters polls have repeatedly shown that people are fed up with inflation, the crime rate, a wide open border, drugs, DEI and defunding the police, yet some government officials seem shocked that the election went to someone who promised to do something about it.
They never did a thing about any of the above, but in spite of what most of the country has voted for and, rather than accept and consider the rebuke handed them by the public, they are unrepentant, stating they’ll resist the new administration even though it has yet to make any decisions.
Divisiveness like this isn’t good for our country, and the defeated need to own up to their failures and listen to what people want.
