Bruce McComas has my support for a number of reasons.
As a retired registered nurse and a long-term oncology patient at Jefferson Healthcare, I have the benefit of an inside perspective on the workings and improvements taking place at our local hospital.
It is comforting to know that our oncology department includes a doctor who worked at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center for 20 years.
In addition, the entire RN staff has their specialty certification in oncology.
JHC now has a full-time orthopedic staff and all-new state-of-the-art equipment necessary to provide quality care.
I’m quite excited that the hospital recently added a full-service women’s clinic as well as a dermatology department.
I am so excited to see the growth.
As a patient and with my nurse perspective, I can say without reservation that I have had excellent and timely care by the entire hospital staff and all departments.
Like it or not, right or wrong, health care is a business, at least for now.
Therefore, it is critically important to maintain the continuity of management that is responsible for the obvious improvements and professionalism now evident at Jefferson Healthcare.
Bruce McComas has the business experience, compassion, dedication and calm demeanor critical to the continued growth of JHC.
Of the two candidates, Bruce McComas has the appropriate and necessary background and experience we need as our next hospital commissioner.
Please join me in voting for Bruce McComas.
