I have been door-belling with Monica MickHager, who is seeking a seat on the Port Townsend City Council.
One citizen wanted to know if MickHager was already on the City Council, because she didn’t want to vote for an incumbent.
She was happy to hear that she was challenging Deborah Stinson.
One voter said that she never received an acknowledgment to the letters she sent to the council.
This an area where MickHager stresses the importance of transparency and claims that all communication will be answered.
MickHager recently received the endorsement of union workers.
She is highly intelligent and has boundless energy to carry through on her plans within the limited city budget.
