LETTER: More balanced information leads to informed choices

A useful idiot is someone who does not enlarge their information to make a decision, and are so easily misled.

Educating yourself to the balanced political scene allows you to become a useful, voting citizen.

Having abundant, unprejudiced information is essential to making critical choices on the future of our country.

To help expand one’s judgment base, there are a number of sites that one can explore to get a nonpartisan review of the actions occurring in our country.

I find that wakeuppolitics.com, factcheck.org, thepoliticalbase.wordpress.com, votesmart.org, politifact.com, washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker, opensecrets.org, sunlightfoundation.org and snopes.com are good sources.

Remember, if you only have one specific view to utilize to vote on the successful future of our country, you only see a minuscule sliver of the total issue.

Educate yourself to be a useful, voting citizen.

Educate yourself to do something, anything to be a knowledgeable American.
