LETTER: Randy Johnson a selfless community leader

He’s the best candidate for Clallam commissioner because he cares and can keep us on the right track.

Randy Johnson is my candidate for Clallam County commissioner.

He has served our community selflessly for many years.

A well-known business leader, Randy has also been a very active community leader.

The Clallam County YMCA board of directors is a group I serve on with Randy.

He is the vice president of finance at the Clallam County Family YMCA.

He faces challenging fiscal topics regularly.

Both this responsibility and managing a significant business in Port Angeles fully qualify him for the budget duties of the board of commissioners.

Present-day politics call for reason and judgment.

The national scene is in a sad state lacking these.

Randy Johnson will bring a broad base of reason to our county.

He is a wise and fair individual whose judgment is impeccable.

He will be a much-needed breath of fresh air in our county.

To put and keep our county on the right course, vote for Randy Johnson for county commissioner.

John Pope,

Port Angeles

Pope is a former Port Angeles School District schools superintendent.
