Precisely the tone
In the May 22 Peninsula Daily News letter — “Attempting overthrow” — ridiculing the Palestinian protestors, the writer describes “these old women (who) clap their hands, stamp their feet and the men … go out and get themselves killed.
Wow what wisdom.”
The men presumably were throwing rocks.
This is precisely the tone adopted by the Nazis regarding Jews, Gypsies and others they regarded as subhumans: If you are stupid enough to protest what we are doing to your people, we will simply continue to murder them and then you.
