LETTER: Social leveling victimizes the very people it’s supposed to benefit

Plato said, “Free people are not equal. Equal people are not free.”

Taxation, regulation and control diminish competition, vital to provide the best quality, variety and price of products and services.

Destroying equal inalienable rights and innate inequality, social equalization produces divisiveness among social classes.

Seizing rightfully earned property, social levelers victimize society’s most productive.

Forcing the industrious to serve others restricts their free choice, spiritual and moral development by interfering with charity they might willingly give to those in need.

Wealth redistribution destroys incentive for both the taxed and receiver of “benefits.”

Social leveling victimizes government’s perpetuated, entitled classes by encouraging dependency.

Children learning dependency though their parents often perpetuate this cycle.

This leveling dis-incentivizes recipients’ ability to provide their own needs, therefore impeding or destroying a sense of accomplishment, self-satisfaction, vital self-worth and pride that gives life meaning.

Individuals must know self-worth before thinking about helping others.

To maintain control and power, the masterminds use social engineering for society’s manipulation.

Unproductive while rearranging humanity, these little gods neglect their own spiritual and moral growth.

Like hovering parents, wealth redistributionists impede individual responsibility, social, moral and economic progress.

Wealth equalization replaces goodwill with resentment, envy, and immorality.

Sucking out society’s soul, social leveling undermines America.

Leo Tolstoy said, “I sit on a man’s back, choking him and making him carry me, and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his lot by all possible means, except by getting off his back.”
