Those of you who voted for Donald Trump should be proud of the “second team” that Donald Trump has nominated for Cabinet positions.
Andy Puzder, secretary of Labor, foresees his Carl’s Jr. restaurants working with robots so he doesn’t have to worry about raising minimum wages. His view of women is so “Trump,” check out his Carl’s Jr. TV commercials.
Of Betsy Devos, secretary of Education, the Detroit Free Press stated that “DeVos isn’t an educator, or an education leader. She’s not an expert in pedagogy or curriculum or school governance. In fact, she has no relevant credentials or experience for a job setting standards and guiding dollars for the nation’s public schools.”
Of the appointment of Scott Pruitt to the Environmental Protection Agency, The New York Times said: “This signals Mr. Trump’s determination to dismantle President Obama’s efforts to counter climate change — and much of the E.P.A. itself.” Pruitt has deep ties to the fossil fuels industry.
And the list goes on …
