LETTER: Wrong on climate change

You might think, since rising ocean level and ever-stronger hurricanes and tornadoes threaten all of southern Florida, including Mar A Lago, that Mr. Trump would be in the forefront of people who try to stop global warming.

But you’d be wrong.

As president, he reassigned and otherwise sidetracked federal scientists who warned of the danger of burning fossil fuel, and as candidate for president, he vows to drill for more.

To me that’s like pouring gasoline on a fire.
