The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, with the help of many community volunteers and the Sequim Police Department, orchestrated a very successful and much appreciated vaccine clinic on Jan. 14.
They plan to continue the clinics three times a week, given availability of vaccine.
First of all, the tribe, after vaccinating their own members and health care workers, decided to share their vaccine with the larger community.
Like everything they do, the tribe organized the day with utmost efficiency, and every person involved communicated kindness and care to Sequim’s over-70 population.
My husband and I are very grateful to everyone who made the clinic possible, and we look forward to the day when our whole community will be vaccinated.
