On Jan. 14, my wife and I received our first dose of COVID-19 vaccine provided by the Jamestown Tribe.
In the past, we have been very vocal in our opposition to the tribe’s drug distribution facility (MAT) planned for Sequim.
But, we should give credit where credit is due.
The tribe, with support from the Sequim Police Department and Fire District 3, did a great job in planning and conducting the vaccine distribution program.
Also, the many volunteers did a good job in handling the very large crowds through the several staging areas.
Thanks again to all concerned for conducting a much needed vaccine program in the absence of any state program.
