An often-used quote, but one that warrants repeating in these days of our fractured government, where Them vs. Us seems to be the norm.
The foundation of democracy is the ability to compromise for the good of the nation and is what has been our strength.
When voting, consider the ability to work toward compromise a good characteristic to look for.
