PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System invites seniors to take part in the Aging Mastery Program.
The weekly discussions in March were so successful that a second round has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Mondays from April 19 through May 24, according to a library press release.
The materials in the self-paced program do not require a computer, although participation in the weekly book discussions does.
The program, developed by the National Council on Aging, focuses on six dimensions of aging: gratitude and mindfulness, health and well-being, finance and future planning, connections and community, learning and creativity and legacy and purpose.
Participants can register at www.nols.org or call 360-417-8500 to receive Zoom links.
Interested patrons may pick up a starter kit at their local branch library.
