Quick cooking demonstrations, Beatles songs and succulent wreaths are among the attractions at farmers markets on the North Olympic Peninsula this weekend.
Arran Stark, master of locally grown delicacies, will show passersby his cooking techniques at his Cultivated Palette Catering cart during the Port Townsend Farmers Market, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today (Saturday) at Lawrence and Taylor streets.
Next week, Port Townsend’s Wednesday market will open at Lawrence and Polk streets.
That event will run from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday through September.
