Free community feasts are planned on the North Olympic Peninsula on Thanksgiving Day and on days leading up to the annual holiday.
On Wednesday — Thanksgiving Eve — there will be three community-wide free feasts, one in Port Angeles, one in Port Townsend and one in Brinnon.
Two more Thursday meals have been added to the Peninsula’s holiday offerings.
These include a public meal hosted by Serenity House in Port Angeles, where a void was created when the free Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Queen of Angels church was canceled because organizers were unable to find a coordinator, ending an 11-year tradition.
