PORT ANGELES — Christine Heycke will present “All About Galls” at noon today.
The free lecture is part of the Green Thumb Garden Tips series streaming on Zoom.
Heycke, a member of the British Plant Gall Society and a Jefferson County master gardener, will discuss the structures, which are created by insects.
She will discuss the benefits and hazards of galls, their potential effects on both ornamental and edible plant and possible remedial methods.
