PORT HADLOCK — “Queen of the Sun: What Are the Bees Telling Us?” will be screened at 6 p.m. Monday.
The film will be shown at Jefferson County Library, 620 Cedar Ave., as an episode during a six-week study course developed by Northwest Earth Institute called Menu for the Future.
Those interested can arrive at 5:30 p.m. for a meet and greet with local farmers and other community members.
“Taking us on a journey through catastrophic disappearances of bees and the mysterious world of the beehive, this alarming and ultimately uplifting film weaves together a dramatic story of the heart-felt struggles of beekeepers, scientists, and philosophers around the world,” according to a news release.
Films will be shown weekly for six weeks along with discussion groups on the topic of Menu for the Future, a study course developed by Northwest Earth Institute.
