PORT TOWNSEND — Bliss Morris will present “What Happens After You Flush? The Story of the City’s Wastewater” at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The zoom lecture is the first presentation in the How Your City Works series hosted by the Port Townsend Public Library and presented by city of Port Townsend staff members.
Morris, the city’s wastewater operations manager, will discuss how the city processes more than 800,000 gallons of wastewater each day, making it safe to discharge into the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
