BLYN — Julieta Martinelli, will present “Environmental Threats of the Olympia Oyster” and Allie Taylor will present “Role of the THPO (what’s a THPO [tip-o]??)” at 3 p.m. Thursday.
The free, online presentations are sponsored by the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribal Library in collaboration with the North Olympic Historical Society.
Martinelli will discuss the threats to the only native oyster species in the Salish Sea.
Taylor will provide an in-depth explanation of the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer’s local project reviews and the various laws that drive these reviews.
