NEAH BAY — The Makah Cultural and Research Center is open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The museum, which had been closed since March 2020, is located at 1880 Bayview Road on the Makah Reservation.
All visitors to the museum, as well as to the rest of the reservation, must show proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
The Makah Tribe, in partnership with Washington State University and the National Park Service, has excavated more than 55,000 pre-contact artifacts from the village at Ozette; many of these artifacts are on display in the center.
