PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System will hand out kits to build a planter or a toolbox starting Monday.
The kits are designed for children aged from 4- to 12-years old to build with an adult.
The kits, which were created by Glen Humphrey of the Wood Connection with wood provided by Angeles Millwork, include everything needed to make a planter or a tool box except a hammer.
The building project, part of the Summer Reading Program, is an opportunity for kids and adults to connect with each other by talking, learning, and creating together, according to a library press release.
