PORT ANGELES — The 2021 Peninsula College Student Art Exhibition features 36 artworks composed of a variety of mediums.
Artwork ranges from surrealism to photography and includes a functional snail tea set.
The virtual exhibition can be viewed on the Peninsula College PUB Gallery of Art Facebook page.
Award winners are:
• Angela Miller of Pasco – Best of Show and honorable mention with digital art, “Butterfly Girl.”
• David Avalos-Martinez of Forks – Best of 2-D.
• Sophia Karena Mahan Buonamici of Port Townsend – Second place in 2-D.
• Grace Blaylock of Port Angeles – Best of 3-D, President’s Merit Award and honorable mention.
• Allison E Hunt of Port Angeles – Second place in 3-D.
• McKenzie Nelson of Smartsville, Calif. – Best of Photography/Digital Art.
• Danielle Michelle Helms of Forks – Second place in Photography/Digital Art.
Other honorable meniton award recipients are Fiona O’Brien of Bellingham, Jennifer Earnest of Port Townsend and Elvina Taylor of Port Angeles.
