SEQUIM — Just-dipped chocolate truffles and caramels. Freshly printed photographs of the moon. Jewelry shaped around bits of sea-polished glass.

These gifts come together for one night only: the Opulent Evening at the Lodge at Sherwood Village on Wednesday.

This is a showcase for those who want to shop local for the holidays, said Renne Brock-Richmond, an organizer and participating artist at the event, which will be open from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Admission is free to the evening at The Lodge at 660 W. Evergreen Farm Way, which is just off North Fifth Avenue.

For those with an appetite for food and art, The Lodge’s coffee shop will be open until 7 p.m.

Wednesday’s collaborative sale also includes handmade scarves, shawls and hats; glass art, jewelry, paintings and mixed media creations along with the aforementioned chocolates and greeting cards.

The cards, from Jan and Kay Kepley of Natural Light Photography, bear images of moonlight, the Dungeness Valley and other romantic spots.

The evening is a time to “have fun exploring with your friends, and find one-of-a-kind presents,” Brock-Richmond said.

If shoppers crave refreshment, there will be cookies and tea, she added.

Serenade, Heidi Buessow of Heidi Marie jewelry design, Jean Wyatt of J Wyatt Art, fused-glass artist Lizbeth Harper, Paulette Hill of Paulette’s by Design, and Brock-Richmond, whose art company is called — all lowercase — unique as you.
