SEQUIM — Julia K. Parrish will present “Seabirds, Citizen Science and Saving the World” at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Parrish will address a meeting of the Dungeness River Audubon Society in the Dungeness River Nature Center, 2099 W. Hendrickson Road.
Parrish will discuss seabird patterns and the Coastal Observation and Seabird Survey Team (COASST).
Parrish, the executive director of COASST, is a Lowell A. and Frankie L. Wakefield Professor of Ocean Fishery Sciences and the associate dean of the College of the Environment at the University of Washington.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
