‘Season of Creation’ to be observed

PORT ANGELES — Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will observe the Ecumenical and International Season of Creation during Sunday services at 9:30 a.m.

Worship services, which include music, creation-centered art and preaching, at at the church, 301 E. Lopez Ave.

Following the the service, C.J. Urnes will present “Our Insect world: Protecting the rare Makah copper butterfly” at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Berger’s presentation is part of a series celebrating the theme, “Season of Wonder” which concludes Oct. 20 with “The Elwha and Regenerative Agriculture” by Karen and Jim Weaver of Wild Edge Farm.

The church is part of the Lutheran Church’s Reconciling in Christ program and welcomes all.
