A senior center anniversary celebration, an author’s one-woman show and storytelling with a twist are among the upcoming activities on the North Olympic Peninsula.

Harvest dinner

FORKS — The 86th Harvest Dinner will be from 4:30 to 7 tonight.

The annual dinner is served in the Fellowship Hall at Forks Congregational Church, 280 Spartan Ave.

The meal costs $10 per person, $6 for children ages 4-12 years and seniors older than 60, or $35 for a family pass.

The menu includes turkey, stuffing, baked salmon, sweet potatoes, salads, drinks and apple and pumpkin pie for dessert.

JOYCE

Benefit breakfast

JOYCE — A benefit breakfast is planned from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday.

The meal will be served at the Crescent Bay Lions Clubhouse, 181 Holly Hill Road.

The menu includes French toast, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, breakfast meats and beverages.

The meal costs $7 per person, $4 for children; proceeds go to the Crescent Bay Lions for community programs and scholarships.

PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles – Jet Set will host its third Bewitching Tea and Silent Auction from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The annual fundraiser will be at the Naval Elks Lodge, 131 E. First St.

In addition to high tea and a variety of silent auction items, the benefit will feature music by Jim Rosand and Cherie Kidd and a 50/50 raffle.

PORT ANGELES — Michael Karcher will call a contra dance at 7 p.m. Saturday.
