Soroptimist International of Port Angeles — Jet Set awards $6,500 in scholarships

PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles — Jet Set has awarded $6,500 in scholarships to area students. The recipients are:

• Port Angeles High School: Ellie Getchell, $1,500; Talia Anderson, $1,500, Madeline Montana, $500; Mary Cochran, $500; and Sarah Brady, $500.

• Lincoln High School: Laken Folsom, $500.

• Crescent High School: Katelyn Baar, $300; Tia Berson, $300; Ashley Girard, $300; Lael Harris, $300; and Chloe Mandeville, $300.
