SEQUIM — Soroptimist International of Sequim’s Online Garden Show Auction kicks off today and runs through Sunday.
More than 140 items are available for bidding. They include a flight to Port Townsend and lunch at the Spruce Goose, Gramma’s Bourbon Fudge, garden tools and garden art, handwoven place mats and scarves, bread-making baskets and a loaf of the sourdough bread, art, jewelry and planters.

Funds raised go toward scholarships and other awards to help provide education and training so “women and girls can achieve economic empowerment.”
The group also will host a gardening webinar from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Toni Gattone, an author and inspirational speaker, will give tools, strategies and advice that will enable people to garden as long as they want to.
