Soroptomists International of Port Angeles presents $1,500 Live Your Dream Award

PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles has presented a $1,500 Live Your Dream scholarship to Amy Williams.

Williams, the mother of two, is majoring in psychology at Washington State University.

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them resources to help improve their education skills and employment prospects.

In 2017, BCHW certified sawyer Larry Baysinger, left, spent a day teaching, and getting chainsaw-certified, members of the new Mt.
