SEQUIM — Dr. Joshua Jones presents “Do You Have a Plan To Cope with Stress? Let’s Make One” at the next WOW! Working on Wellness Forum set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9.

The free forum will be at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., Sequim. Seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.

This forum aims to help each participant come away with an individualized plan for reducing their stress levels.

Jones joined Olympic Medical Center’s physician division as chief physicians officer in September 2016. A board-certified general and forensic psychiatrist, he came to Olympic Medical Physicians after serving for six years as medical director at Peninsula Behavioral Health.

From 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., volunteer nurses from the clinic will be available to check the blood pressure of anyone who may be interested.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic.

The clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members.

Clinic work is supported by more than 70 volunteers including physicians, other professional health care providers and laypeople, as well as private and public donations.

The Basic Urgent Care Clinic is open to patients on Monday and Thursday evenings beginning at 5. People interested in supporting the clinic may call 360-582-0218.
