PORT ANGELES — Experimental Aircraft Association #430 of Sequim will offer free airplane rides to youths ages 8- through 17-years from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
The planes will operate out of William R. Fairchild International Airport, 1402 Fairchild Airport Road.
Passengers must have a signed permission slip from a parent or guardian, who must be on site during the flight.
Participants may pre-register at www.youngeaglesday.org until 8 p.m. Saturday; onsite registration will use the same website.
The association’s pilots provide these flights to encourage kids to consider aviation as a career, avocation or hobby.
The association also will provide flights on Saturday, June 17, at Sequim Valley Airport and Sunday, July 16, at the Jefferson County International Airport.
